Beginning of December, in New York, will be held RM Sotheby’s Driven by Disruption auction, on which will be offered for sale an exclusive 1938 Bugatti Type 57C Atalante with eight-cylinder engine and 160 HP. Bugatti has made only 32 units of this car, of which 12 of them are with aluminum body. Of those 12, this copy which will be offered at the auction was last manufactured with chassis number 57766, and is expected to bring a lot of money.
Bearing in mind that in 2013 a 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Atalante was sold for 8.5 million US dollars, it is expected that this copy will be sold for more than $10 Million.
