Retail department store chain Neiman Marcus launched an enhanced mobile commerce website August 16 that allows customers to shop from any mobile device.
Neiman Marcus partnered with Usablenet to optimize their existing e-commerce site. Mobile phone users will automatically be re-directed to the m-commerce site when they type in the standard website URL, neimanmarcus.com. The full merchandise assortment available on the web is available on the mobile. Customers will also have the ability to access full account management including order history and status, as well as store locations.
Neiman Marcus is promoting the mobile shopping site with the ‘Fashion Anywhere’ sweepstakes. After any purchase through the m-commerce site through September 30, customers will be automatically entered to win first-class tickets for two to any destination and a $10,000 American Express gift card.
