There is no end of celebrities’ boasting. The last example is Kelly Osbourne, who appeared at the 2012 Emmy Awards complete with the most expensive accessory – $250,000 worth diamond manicure. The daughter of Ozzy, red carpet commentator, and Fashion Police co-host, Kelly probably was unaware for the reactions caused by small fortune of black diamonds on her nails.
Created by Los Angeles-based luxury jeweler Azature, one bottle of black nail polish, priced at $250,000 contains 267 carats of powdered black diamonds for a one-of-a-kind finish. Before Kelly, Jennifer Lopez was the only person to have worn it when attended “Evita” on Broadway.
According to the media, Kelly’s most expensive manicure caused a turbulent reaction of her fans and critics, so the singer admitted that she didn’t actually have to fork out the quarter of a million dollars for the blingy nail treatment. She also quoted, “Please forgive me for not regretting it, it made me feel like a queen!”
As we earlier wrote about that world’s most expensive nail polish, Azature company is also offering a lower-priced version that will contain only one real black diamond and cost $25 for a 0.5oz/15ml bottle.
