In this year when the two companies that have been successfully operating for almost 10 years mark important anniversaries, certainly have reason to honor the performances with the new models of watches. Manufacturer of watches, Jaeger-LeCoultre, this year celebrates 180 years of existence, the automobile manufacturer, Aston Martin, celebrating 100 years since its founding. In that honor they will be presented 3 new models inspired by luxury cars. The two models belong to the JLC Master collection, and one is from AMVOX collection of watches.
Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm Aston Martin’s model combines world time display with alarm function. Alarm time can be easily read on the left side of the dial to position “9 am”, which is read by two semicircular openings, which are read at one meter from 1 to 12, and the second time on 15 minutes. This model runs JLC Caliber 912 automatic alarm mechanism. Case is 46.3mm in diameter and is made of a combination of titanium and stainless steel. Watch comes on a leather strap alligator skin, and one package with additional rubber strap. Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm is produced in limited edition of 100 copies with a price of $17.800.
Master Hometime Aston Martin is a watch like the other models that are made in collaboration with Aston Martin and features a distinctive color, black, white and red, but red is used here only to the top of the pointer to the time in another time zone. The GMT is powered by automatic JLC caliber 975H, showing 24 hours of time in position “12h”, depicting the second position “6h” and centrally placed GMT hand. In position “3h” are JLC and Aston Martin logo. The price of this model is $9.000.
AMVOX5 Cermet World Chronograph – JLC is now the first and only manufacturer to use in their classes cermet material used in making the motor racing cars. Cermet material with aluminum core with ceramic particles is covered with 40-micron ceramic protective layer. The casing of this model has a diameter of 44mm and has declared water resistance of 50m. It is powered by automatic caliber 752 running at 28,800 BPH has 39 jewels and a power reserve of 65 hours. They are made in limited edition of 500 copies and it is necessary to allocate $22,200.
