Stunning 56,000 sq ft mansion north of Chicago goes under the hammer during live auction on November 22nd, conducted by Concierge Auctions in cooperation with Baird & Warner Real Estate. There is no minimum reserve but a $250,000 deposit will be required to bid.
Set on 7.39 immaculately landscaped acres, this secluded compound features 9 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and, as expected from this basketball legend, a regulation-size, NBA-quality basketball court. It also includes a guest wing with three en suite bedrooms and a separate entrance. Jordan wrote in an e-mail to the Wall Street Journal this week that he is auctioning the home because “my kids are grown now and I don’t need a large house in Chicago.” He added that he sees the auction as the start of a trend for selling similarly high-profile properties.
