In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the classic film – The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West have been re-imagined by twenty of world’s top fashion and costume designers. To mark this anniversary, Warner Bros. Consumer Products has collaborated with the Tonner Doll Co. to give a designer touch to the lead female characters. Some of the top fashion and costume designers lured by the world of fairy tales include Donna Karan, BCBG Max Azria, Chris Benz, Jenny Packham, Marc Jacobs, Charlotte Ronson, Betsey Johnson, Trina Turk and Anna Sui.
They have created 20 glamorous 22-inch dolls based on the film’s leading ladies. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity as part of the “There’s No Place Like Home” campaign.
