The Sahara desert will soon get a unique city. French companies “Manal Rachdi Oxo” and “Nicolas Laisne Associes” are going to build an imposing building that will look like a great rock, and decorate wilderness in the heart of Morocco. Named “Sand Tower” is fully designed to fit into the environment that surrounds it. There will be located, elite hotels, shops and apartments, and a real farm within the city, which will make this building a self-sustaining.

The main idea is that, so far inaccessible place on the planet, make appropriate for people to live and normally work. One of the specific details that will have “Sand Tower” is the observatory at the top, from which, with one of the clearest sky in the world, stargazing will be a real privilege. Under the project, a whole complex will have 720 thousand square meters, and will constitute a precedent in the art of architecture.
