Land Rover has recently announced that the two millionth Defender will be sold at auction in London, which now happened. On December 15th and 16th, namely, was organized an exhibition on the occasion of 67 years of production of this legendary SUV in the UK, and during this exhibition the Bonhams auction sold the two millionth Defender which recently produced in Solihull factory.

One-of-a-kind vehicle sold for £400,000 with all proceeeds going to two of Land Rover’s charities – the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Born Free Foundation.
Features designed especially for the car include Indus Silver satin color with black elements (fender, mirrors, grille, roof …), Santorini Black wheels, interior with leather and aluminum trim, as well as a map of Red Wharf Bay – where the design for the first Land Rover was drawn in the sand – embossed into its seats, and a ‘no. 2,000,000’ badge at the rear. The car’s number plate, S90 HUE, is a homage to the first pre-production Land Rover, which received the designation HUE 166.
