Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that offers 231 HP and 320 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual or optional automatic transmission.
Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is 6.5 seconds with the automatic, or 6.6 seconds with the manual transmission, and the maximum speed is with manual transmission 150mph, and with automatic 148.5 mph. Prices for the new Mini John Cooper Works Cabrio in the UK starts at 26.630 pounds($38,000), and in Germany from 33,500 euros($36,500).
