As announced, Mercedes has introduced C-Class Convertible model at this years Geneva Motor Show. Will be offered diesel versions C 220 d, C 220 d 4MATIC and C 250 d Cabriolet as well as the petrol C 180, C 200, C 200 4MATIC, C 250, C 300 and C 400 4MATIC. Also, in the offer will be a sports version named C 43 4MATIC with a V6 3.0-liter biturbo petrol engine with 367 HP and 520 Nm of torque, and later AMG variants C 63 and C 63 S.
New Mercedes C-Class Cabrio, has a classic, soft folding roof (can be lowered / raised at speeds up to 50 km / h, and it takes 20 seconds), COMAND infotainment system and the interior borrowed from C-class Coupe. There are also Aircap and Airscarf systems. Aircap is an innovative shield that protects from the wind and rises above the upper edge of the windshield and direct the flow of the wind 20 cm above the heads of passengers. On the other hand, the Airscarf is heating system, which, through channels in the seats and head restraints directs the warm air to the neck.
It should be noted that the C-Class Cabrio has a standard 17-inch alloy wheels, while 43 C 4MATIC version comes with a set of 18 inches wheels.
Also, will be offered AMG Line package with aero body kit, alloy wheels of 18 inches and a sleek interior with a sport steering wheel. Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabrio should have a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine with 476 Hp and 650 Nm, orh 510 HP and 700 Nm. With a powerful AMG versio, naturally, will go aero body kit, AMG alloy wheels, new brakes, sports exhaust system with four tailpipes, sport tuned suspension and sleek sporty interior.
