Owner of sushi restaurant in Japan, Kiyoshi Kimura, saw a fish heavy 212-kilogramme (467-pound) at auction in the market and didn’t ask for the price.
For Pacific bluefin tuna he has set aside 74.2 million yen (€605,900).
“I feel it was a bit expensive, but I am happy that I was able to successfully win at auction a tuna of good shape and size,” said Kimura.
