RM Sotheby’s announces that in March, at the auction event on Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, will offer for sale this very interesting Fiat 8V Supersonic. For its “jet age” bodywork took care Italian Ghia, while the car is powered by V8 engine. The engine is usually designed for a luxury sedan but the project was canceled so instead Fiat motor used for this exclusive coupe.

As stated in the news, Ghia made only 8 pieces of these special coupe, and one will be offered on the aforementioned auction in March.
Although the news doesn’t provide estimated sum, it should be recalled that the Gooding & Company six years ago sold one copy of the $1.7 million.
