Lancia Stratos is a true legend in the world of automotive, and one great copy was sold for as much as $475,000.
Lancia Stratos competed in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 1974 and won the title in its first year on the track as well as in the next two years. According to the homologation standards, 500 copies were to be produced, but by 1978, 492 cars came down from the production line.

These limited numbers clearly state that a well preserved copy is very difficult to find, and if the search is successful, the car is very expensive in that case. One owner has decided to sell his Stratos at auction, and the new owner has allocated as much as $475,000.
The car was numbered 44 of 492 copies, it was produced in 1974 and spent most of its life in Italy. It has only 71,008 km on its odometer, and the engine, gearbox and chassis are original.

Lancia Stratos has a 2.4-liter Dino V6 engine, which developed 190 hp when it was brand new. The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, and the body is painted in the Rosso Arancio Rally red. Upholstery is also of the same color, and the driver and front passenger are accommodated in Havana seats. The instrument panel is black, as well as door panels.
The car is fully serviced this year and is in perfect condition.
