As always with Roger Dubuis Excalibur line, the racing spirit is here !!! Roger Dubuis launches the Excalibur Spider Pirelli Sottozero – the timepiece which took inspiration from the watch brand’s two high-octane motorsports partners – tyre legend Pirelli and Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
Playing with the famous color codes of Pirelli, the surprise comes from the strap featuring rubber inlays from certified Pirelli – and adorned with legendary tread motifs reproducing the profile of a Pirelli Cinturato intermediate tyre on the bottom and Pirelli Sottozero on the top.
Fans of fine mechanics can enjoy an incredible transparent view of the new RD105SQ hand‑wound calibre with power‑reserve indicator and the signature blue Astral Skeleton. The flying tourbillons at 5 and 7 o’clock are rimmed by speedometer‑like seconds counters enhanced with automobile‑inspired pointers, while the multi‑coloured powerreserve indicator represents a cool nod to racing‑car cockpit fuel gauges.
