This month, the Four Seasons brand announced the opening of its resort on a private island, part of the Maldives.
Four Seasons Private Island Maldives Voavah is seven-bedroom home which is located on five acres of land and can accommodate up to 22 guests. Intended for those with deep pockets, this house on the beach will cost about $46,000 (£36,700) per night, but you will in addition be able to use the whole island.

According to the regional president and general manager of the resort, guests here can design your unique holiday experience: “They can treat the island as a space to enjoy with family and friends, as well as VIP place for fun, or as exciting landscape that can get to know and which might motivate them. ”
To reach the island, guests traveling 40 minutes by seaplane from the international airport in Male or 20 minutes by fast boat from Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru. Within this building, guests will see an open-plan living room, kitchen, library, dining room, loggia, gym and bedrooms that are located in three separate parts. In addition to the main house, two separate villas sit on different sides of the island and have their own private swimming pools, while the entire estate has spectacular views of the ocean.

Additional units at both ends of the island are called Mezzanine Suites and include a living room, an outdoor shower and a panoramic balcony.
