Airstream Reveals 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-Based Interstate

If you’re looking to purchase an Airstream Interstate, you should noticed that the 2014 models are beginning to roll in. Built on a 2014 Mercedes Benz Sprinter platform, the 2014 Airstream Interstate which is even more luxurious than the 2011 Travel Trailor, debuted at the Los Angeles Motor Show on Tuesday. The Ohioan marquee started collaborating with auto royalty Mercedes Benz way back in 2010, and for this year they prepared luxury motor home with all amenities you will ever need or won’t ever need on the road. The Interstate is available in two lengths, and is powered by a 188-hp, 325-lb-ft 3.0-liter turbodiesel V-6. The efficient powertrain enables a maximum towing capacity of up to 6400 pounds and a highway fuel economy rating of more than 18 mpg.

On the outside, the 2014 Airstream Interstate reflects the changes to the 2014 Sprinter, including LED driving lights and HID headlights, a new grille design, a collision warning system, lane-keeping alert and parking sensors this premium RV makes for a safer traveling experience.

But inside, you’ll find some “Best in Class” features, such as a 22-inch Samsung flat-screen TV and Blu-Ray player provide the entertainment, supplemented by a Kenwood Multimedia System. It can seat a total of nine passengers, but when talking about sleeping it only accommodates for two. Best in Class Design, Best in Class Quality, Best in Class Safety, Best in Class Innovation, Best in Class Craftsmanship, the 2014 Airstream Interstate comes with a starting price of $146,300.
