The resort consists of 12 exclusive units discreetly constructed from wood and linked to the reception by a boardwalk lined with kentia palms. It is set among a high rainforest canopy with magnificent old banyan trees. The rooms were designed by a leading Sydney interior designer in a minimalist, contemporary South-east Asian style with neutral colours and tones. Some are split-level, mezzanine affairs, with whitewashed walls, wood panelling and huge windows fitted with wooden venetian blinds that make fantastic use of the tropical light.
Arajilla’s kitchen garden produces organic vegetables, herbs and greens. The experienced chefs skilfully prepare these ingredients creating delicious ever changing menus for you to enjoy. After a days activities come back and enjoy drinks and canapes in the guest lounge followed by a sumptuous dinner prepared by talented team of chefs.

Lord Howe Island’s only Ayurvedic day spa is specially housed in a traditional yurt under the majestic Banyan Tree forest. This is perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy all that Lord Howe has on offer. Here, you will enjoy your massages and spa treatments in total serenity, with the gentle sounds of nature keeping you company.
Be as active or as passive as you like. Walk bush trails, climb mountains, swim, surf, snorkel, fish, cycle around the Island, play golf beneath the mountains, lie on a deserted beach, enjoy a massage or treatment, savor fine food and wine.
