Those who are familiar with MB&F brand, also knows that founder Max Büsser’s interests go far beyond just watches. The latest example is this limited edition pen that resemble a space rocket. Astrograph pen is result of MB&F’s most recent collaboration with Swiss company: Caran d’Ache, which makes everything from crayon boxes for school children to high-end luxury writing instruments.

Manufacturing Astrograph pen was a massive technical challenge. Four years of reflection and fruitful discussions were necessary to perfect the concept with another year devoted to the development of the final model.
The result is a veritable launch pad with a rocket pen waiting to blast off into space. It is accompanied by a presentation set along with a miniature astronaut that can be attached anywhere to the body of the rocket, ready to embark on a fantastic space odyssey.

With a perfectly integrated design, the Astrograph incorporates 99 innovative elements. More than 500 manual operations are required to manufacture it in the Geneva-based workshops of Caran d’Ache.
The Astrograph is available in three different finishes: brilliant polished rhodium, matt sanded rhodium and anthracite ruthenium, and only 99 will be made of each – a tip of the hat to the 99 components specially developed for this limited edition.
