Audemars Piguet’s Limited Edition Watch will be offered on sale at Sotheby’s upcoming Geneva auction of Important Watches to be held on May 11th 2013. This exceptional model will be on sale to support the footballer’s Foundation.
Designed with the collaboration of world’s best football player today, this collectible watch is the 10th watch produced by Audemars Piguet in a limited series of only 100 pieces dedicated to Lionel Messi. The 41 mm chronograph in platinum with its deep blue shade and white gold hour-markers, replacing the standard Royal Oak “tapisserie” motif, also features the engraved inscriptions “ROYAL OAK LIMITED EDITION” and “LEO MESSI”, numbered 10/100.

It will be accompanied by an autographed T-shirt as well as the original sketch of the watch signed by the player and by Audemars Piguet’s Chief Artistic Officer, Octavio Garcia. Moreover, the lucky bidder of this lot will enjoy the exceptional opportunity to watch a football match of Barcelona as well as to meet the legendary footballer in person.
