After a three-door version, Audi has introduced the S3 Sportback. The premiere is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show 2013th.
Compared with the standard Audi A3, S3 have chrome decorative details on the grille and air vents on the front bumper. Exterior mirrors are made of aluminum, and specially designed 18-inch aluminum wheels and powerful brakes, S3 have four tailpipes and a redesigned rear bumper with integrated diffuser. The car is due to reliance sport tuned lower by 25 mm.
Audi to Unveil the S3 Sportback at Geneva Motor Show
In interior dominate leathers material. Besides seats, leather includes steering wheel, shift knob and armrests in the doors, and pedal foot controls are made of aluminum. The Audi S3 is 1445 kg lighter than the previous model by 70 kg.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine which is capable to develop 300 hp at 5,500 r / min with maximum torque of 380 Nm, which has a range of 1800-5500 r / min. The engine is connected to a standard six-speed manual gearbox, while an option is automatic S-tronic transmission with double clutch. Power is transferred to all wheels through Audi’s quattro drive. In the version with manual transmission, the Audi S3 Sportback accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 5.6 seconds, while achieving the same velocity with S-Tronic for just 5.0 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to a car at 155mph.
Audi S3 Sportback will be on display at the upcoming Motor Show in Geneva, and will be on sale later in the 2013th year.
