On the second day of journey, after breakfast you’ll arrive at Kuala Kangsar. Disembark for a tour of the grand Ubudiah Mosque, the Royal Museum of Perak and the Sultan Shah Gallery. Return to the train and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at your leisure as you continue your journey to Thailand. A decadent dinner will be served on board.
Alight late morning at the River Kwai Bridge station for a cruise along the picturesque river with a local historian will await you on third day. Afterwards, join a visit to an evocative war museum and optional war cemetery.

Return to the train for lunch, before ending your journey in Bangkok in the late afternoon.
If you book your excursion from 28 October, celebrated Australian chef and restaurateur Luke Mangan will join this special journey. He will work with Executive Chef Yannis Martineau to bring his signature clean and contemporary cuisine to menus.
