For $28,5 million, you’ll get not only the house with enviable celebrity pedigree, but also magnificent residence designed by Paul Williams in 1941 for actor Bert Lahr, who played the Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz.” The house has been renovated with care to include the most modern amenities while preserving its original touches.

The main house is about 12,000 square feet with 7 bedrooms, 7 baths and 3 powder rooms. The home theater and wine cellar on in a lower level in the home. There is a 3,000-square-foot guest house.
Other features include a bowling alley, game room, a luxury pool, a koi pond, wet bar, media room, tennis court, putting green and 1.3 acres for privacy.
The home is now owned by French fashion designer Guy Attal, who tried flipping it for a lower $25.5 million four years ago but de-listed it soon.
