Diana Dors’ 1949 Delahaye Type 175 S Roadster by Saoutchik
The 1949 Delahaye Roadster Type 175 S Roadster, which some have dubbed the most beautiful car in the world, once owned by the late British actress Diana Dors has sold at RM Sports & Classics of Monterey Auction in California.
Although the expected price between $4 and $6 million, a turquoise sports car made in 1949 by French manufacturers Delahaye, were sold for only $3 million, as well as many other cars that are sold for much lower price than expected.
Complete official results from the three-day sale will be posted online at RM Auctions early next week.
