This year’s assortment is particularly desirable and covers nearly a half century of Ferrari history. The highlights of the sale include an exciting range of examples from the Modenese Prancing Horse including an exceptional and stunning chassis 0617 SA, a stunning Ferrari 410 Superamerica which in 1957 was the only such car bodied by Scaglietti. No less impressive, on offer will be an elegant 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Ellena Berlinetta, matching-numbers example that has been a recent Ferrari Historic Racing entrant and Colorado Grand participant and continues to be a fantastic event car, as is the 308 GTB Racing Car.
When it comes to Ferrari, we must mention a 1991 Ferrari F40, which not only holds the distinction of being one of the finest supercars of the 1980s but is also one of the finest examples extant with less than 300 original miles and originally owned by famed auto executive Lee Iacocca. Other important Ferraris on offer include a rare 342 America Pinin Farina Coupe (chassis 0246 AL), one of only six cars and the example on display at Geneva in 1953.
Notable sale entries include a majestic 1930 Duesenberg Model J LWB Dual Cowl Phaeton, the only long wheelbase LeBaron sweep panel ever built, along with a freshly restored 1957 BMW 507 Roadster, as well as a striking 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster and a sporty 1966 Shelby Cobra 427.
