Experience Dior’s Legacy Through Customizable Amphoras

In 1947, Christian Dior has created his first iconic fragrance, the Miss Dior, which was housed in the amphora shaped bottle. His subsequent favourite scents – the Diorama, Diorissimo and Diorling – were all also bottled in the sensuous curvaceous bottle most recognisable by its figure-8 silhouette. Now we have a chance to experience the French fashion house’s legacy through customizable amphoras.

Dior’s new generation of amphoras are a part of an ultra-exclusive bespoke service offered only at the Salon du Parfums at Harrod’s. Your bespoke amphora can be made to measure and they can also be customised to have a date engraved or a set of initials carved for a more personalised touch. The bottom of the glass vessel is decorated with star motif, a tribute to Christian Dior’s lucky charm, which he always kept with him from the day he founded his fashion house.
