A week ago, Victoria’s Secret opened its first store in the UK, just in time for the Olympics. The first of two planned stores in UK, is located in the Westfield shopping centre, just next to the Olympic Park.
The 1149 sqm store looks exactly as expected from Victoria’s Secret, with brand’s famous pink colour interiors and oversized custom-made chandeliers. The opening ceremony passed without fanfare, just with an illuminated pink fronted fascia that attracted a lot of attention from passersby. Winged torsos clad in the product were displayed at the window, against velvet curtains.
A second Victoria’s Secret store is set to open in London’s Bond Street, which is rumoured to happen in two weeks time. So, this summer, shoppers in UK can expect to see Angel wings and the underwear worn by the brand’s most famous muses – including Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Candace Swanepoel, Lily Aldrige and Erin Heatherton.
