The first floating floating hotel will be located in fjords near the Norwegian city of Tromso, located in the Arctic Circle, which is one of the best places to observe the North Light and Aurora Borealis. Known as the Krystall hotel, this extraordinary work is done by Dutch Docklands, which specializes in the intriguing design of floating structures.

This magical hotel will have 86 rooms, a spa and wellness center, as well as a conference room, and will be designed to be completely self-sustaining. People who develop this hotel have the aim to anchor this magnificent snowflake for the bottom of the fjord, but with the possibility of floating. Architect Koen Olthuis from Waterstudia cooperates with the Dutch Docklands Company.
