Ford Mustang Apollo Edition Sold for $230,000 at Auction

Ford recently introduced a unique Mustang Apollo Edition, prepared specially for the 2015 EAA AirVenture festival in Wisconsin (Experimental Aircraft Association), where a few days ago was sold at auction. The car was sold for $230,000, and all proceeds go to charity.

As inspiration is otherwise used NASA’s Apollo program, wherein the car is white with black elements of the American flag motif, the inscription USA, red mirrors, front spoiler made of carbon fiber, the rear difluoro, trunk spoiler, black Forgiato alloy wheels 21-inch, red brake calipers, Brembo brakes, sport-tuned suspension, sport exhaust system, LED lighting under the car, sports seats with black leather, special mats, a modified dashboard …

Under the hood is a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 627 Hp and 731 Nm of torque.

Based on a 2015 fastback Ford Mustang GT, Ford design and engineering teams transformed the 5.0-liter pony car into the Apollo Edition Mustang
