Frauscher 1017 LIDO Debuted at Cannes Boat Show 2012

Austrian factory Frauscher promised two version of its 1017 line boats. Following success of the Frauscher 1017 GT model, premiered in Cannes 2011, Frauscher presents its second version – 1017 LIDO at Cannes Boat Show 2012, which takes place from 11th to 16th September.

The new Frauscher 1017 LIDO is open-hearted sister of the successful Frauscher 1017 GT, that won the honorary title of European motor boat of the year. Besides exceptional handling characteristics of the 1017 GT, new model the 1017 LIDO boasts with its lounge design, that highlights its unique character.

Designed by Thomas Herzer, Frauscher 1017 LIDO is 9.99 meters in length and can reach a top speed of 45-58 knots. With its outstanding design and aesthetics as well as spaciousness, this boat can accommodate up to ten people. There are a variety of features for maximum comfort of the driver and his guests, including a tinted front glass and a bimini top for the front and rear lounge area to provide protection from excessive sunlight. The two tables in the front area can be easily transformed into a spacious area for sunbathing. Toilet hidden under the center console, freeing up space for the guests.

Frauscher, company which is in the business since 1927, known for its excellent craftsmanship and innovations luxury boats, now produces only hybrid boat that is environmentally friendly, that provide the same performance as the petrol boats.
