When it comes about lingerie encrusted with diamonds or other precious stones, usually only models have a chance to wear them. This time, UK luxury label Fred & Ginger teamed up with Hatton Garden’s Diablom’s Fine Jewellery to create a diamond bra and knickers, which are very wearable and available to ordinary people. Well, not exactly to ordinary people, since this stunning set, which will feature in erotic boutique Coco de Mer window display over the Christmas season, is priced at £25,000 ($40,000)!
Inspired by Cinderella and her horse-drawn carriage, this precious set consists of the bra adorned with a central diamond (0.5ct) on a pendulum, surrounded by an 18ct yellow-gold on framework adorned with 69 smaller diamonds, while the knickers also boasts four diamonds on each side. The fabric used is 100 percent French silk satin and comes in gold, black navy and ivory.
Fred & Ginger’s diamond bra and knickers set is available to purchase from Coco de Mer’s Covent Garden store from November 2 to December 20.
