Lavish Swiss Mansion that once belonged to a legendary member of Beatles, George Harrison has just hit the market. The 1.6 acre property has views of scenic Lake Lugano, the Swiss Alps and Monte Rosa. The 10,800-square-foot main house boasts classic Palladian architecture and impeccable European craftsmanship.

In addition to the main house, the complex includes a separate 1,800-square-foot building used for staff quarters or a guest house, 800-square-foot brick castle, marble mosaic floors, four-floor elevator, frescoes, columns, marble fireplaces and boiserie paneling. There’s also a massive wine cellar, Roman-style swimming pool,formal gardens filled with bonsai trees, palms and other mature trees, topiaries and fountains.

George Harrison bought the house in July 2001 while he was receiving cancer treatment at a nearby clinic. Harrison was only 58 when he died at his Los Angeles home, just four months after purchase Swiss mansion. He reportedly paid $10 million for the place. The current listing price is being kept quiet and only given to qualified buyers.
