Half-Century Old Whiskey Priced At $40.499

The Balvenie Fifty: Marriage 0614

If you are a whiskey lover or connoisseur, we have great news for you…
Doing what they do best, the Balvenie company introduced The Balvenie Fifty: Marriage 0614, a luxury drink that has spent half a century in production. Consisting of liquid from American and European oak barrels, which have matured for more than fifty years, this whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV. It was carefully created by the Malt Master, David Stewart.
On the palate, whiskey reveals hints of bitter chocolate, spices, the sweetness of maple syrup with just a few drops of honey, with perfectly integrated oak tannins.

Furthermore, whiskey contains aromas of dark spices, dried fruit, raisins and an abundance of notes of oak and ginger.
Commenting on this limited edition whiskey, Stewart said: “I am honored to share such a rare and distinctive copy with you. It is a creation that gives us the opportunity to use the oldest and most precious elements of our brand, with all the different tastes and maturations, and that is without a doubt the most challenging part of my job, which I also enjoy the most. “
Offered in a crystal decanter, hand-blown by Glasstorm masters, with wooden elements handmade by Scottish master Sam Shineri, The Balvenie Fifty: Marriage 0614 sells for $ 40,499. Only 148 bottles will be available for purchase, starting this month.
