Highlander – Forbes Family’s Superyacht Available for Charter

After an extensive refit, Forbes family’s superyacht – the Highlander is back in the water, and now, for the first time she is available for charter through Feadship Charter Division. Luxury 46m motor yacht, custom built in 1986 by Feadship in Aalsmeer (Netherlands) hosted many celebrities such as Ronald Reagan, Baroness Thatcher, Robert de Niro, Sir Mick Jagger, Liz Taylor and Sir Paul McCartney.

Thanks to her distinct green hull (the colour of money), the Highlander represents one of the most instantly recognisable superyachts around the world. Designed by legendary designer Jon Bannenberg, she can accommodates 12 guests and 11 crew, and the list of her amenities is prety long. Jacuzzi, gym, helipad, assorted skis, kayaks and snorkelling gear; inside pop art lines the walls, spaces for entertaining and gym facilities are some of them.
The Highlander yacht has a steel hull with a aluminium superstructure with a beam of 8.90m (29’2″ft) and a 3.00m (9’10″ft) draft .This custom yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience.

She has a cruising speed of 13.00 knots, max speed of 14.00 knots and a range of 3000.00 nm. from her 75,600.00l. fuel tanks.
