i-Sopod is constructed from the finest quality GRP double-skinned mouldings and is hand finished and insulated throughout. The internal floatation area of the i-sopod is 50% larger than most tanks on the market making the in-tank experience much more comfortable. The ingenious design helps with those customers who may be claustrophobic and a large and inviting opening with soft LED lighting. The i-sopod flotation tank comes in a wide variety of colors and comes available with integrated sound and an available SD card reader.
500 kg of Epsom salts are added to 1000 litres of water, creating a 30 cm deep solution, which is heated to 35.5 degrees C. The temperature of the water means that once you are settled in the tank, it is virtually impossible to distinguish between parts of the body that are in contact with the water, and those that aren’t, in effect fooling the brain into believing that the person is floating in mid-air.
