Jim Beam is certainly synonymous with the world’s finest and best-selling Bourbon. But the story about Beam heritage dated back 217 years ago. Jacob Beam (1770-1834), founder of Jim Beam Bourbon, sold his first barrels of corn whiskey in 1795 and the legend was born. Now, brand celebrates the origins of the Jim Beam distillery, launching Jim Beam 1795 Limited Edition Bourbon.
This Limited Edition Bourbon is 95 percent proof pure (47.5% abv), made from 8 year old bourbon sourced from the top floor of a selected five-floor rack house. This premium drink is presented in a flask made of high-clarity flint glass with a heavy set base. The bottle is housed in a black box with 1795 and the signature of the founder, James B. Beam, prominent.
Jim Beam 1795 is a limited edition of only 200 70cl bottles and carries a recommended retail price of €139 (around $175). First presenting will be at Frankfurt Airport in June, and after that it will be available through selected travel retail outlets in Europe.
