Jo Malone London has released its tenth addition to the Cologne Intense Collection, originaly launched in 2010. New scent – Incense & Cedrat was inspired by Omani incense, which is harvested from the Bowsellia sacra tree, found in Dhofar, Oman. The harvest is passed down through generations and twice a year the tree is incised allowing resinous sap to seep out, dry and crystallise. This fragrance was developed by perfumer Marie Salamagne, who used the NaturePrint technique to help it make its way into the perfume.
In addition to a note from the Boswellia sacra tree, this warm scent features lemon, pepper, elemi, labdanum and benzoin notes.
Incense & Cedrat will be available in 100 ml Cologne Intense in Jo Malone London boutiques at the beginning of February 2015.
