John Lennon’s Former Lost Weekend Home in Los Angeles for Sale

John Lennon certainly became one of the most popular rock and roll musicians worldwide alongside Paul McCartney and The Beatles, and later as solo musician. Some 18 months in period between 1973-1975, Lennon called Lost Weekend. Despite the period’s name, at that time Lennon wrote and produced what became the solo album Walls and Bridges, which featured Lennon’s only No. 1 single as a solo artist during his lifetime. The house in which John Lennon stayed in that period with May Pang, during his strained relationship with Yoko Ono is listed for sale for $4.495 million.

Located in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood, this 5 bedroom,  4 bath and approximately 5,000 square-foot home boasts a master suite with walk-in closets, a step-down living room with dark hardwood floors and fireplace, a formal dining room, and a kitchen with custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Outside, the home features a pool and spa, a 1250 square metre lot with lush yard, and a patio with exquisite views.

This is not the first time that John Lennon’s Los Angeles home has gone on market. In 2006, the same home on 8818 Thrasher Ave, Los Angeles, CA was listed for a whopping $4,950,000. [Judy Ross-Bunnage]
