Lalique X Caran d’Ache Crystal Limited Edition Pens

Two historic family businesses Caran d’Ache and Lalique have joined their forces to create an exceptional limited edition pen: Crystal. Renowned French crystal-maker and jeweller have combined their arts which resulted in three original styles of writing instrument: Black Crystal, White Crystal; and Crystal & Diamonds that connect art and life with timeless elegance. The pens are coated with a sprinkle of ceramic ‘water’ droplets, evoking both Art Nouveau in the rounded form of the droplets and Art Deco in their meticulous positioning.

The design is completed by the ceramic droplets, the flow of diamonds and an iconic Lalique cabochon of satin-brushed crystal that plays subtle games with the light.
These exclusive pens are made in noble and precious materials – ceramic, blackened gold, rhodium-coated silver, diamonds – and reveal their personality in meticulous hand-finishing that require the skills of a virtuoso to execute.

Both the Black Crystal and White Crystal editions comprise 999 fountain pens and 999 roller pens while the Crystal and Diamond edition is limited to just 18 fountain pens. To accompany the latter prestigious edition, Lalique has designed a special ink bottle that comes in a beautifully lacquered box.
