His name is Daymak C5 Blast, and from the zero to 60mph arrives faster than Chiron and Tesla.
Although at go-kart vehicle acceleration does not matter as much handling, Canadian company Daymak decided to introduce electric go-kart which offers record acceleration. Believe it or not, their car will catch 60mph in 1,5 seconds.
Particularly interesting is the drive. To move forward go-kart uses four EDF (electric ducted fan) motors and powerful 10 kW electric motor that drives the rear wheels. The only open question is the one related to the handling that on this kind of drive concept could be problematic.

Electrical energy is provided by the set of the lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2.4 kWh.
The price is also known. Daymak C5 Blast with EDF will cost you $59,995,while while classic version without EDF drive costs only $9,999. But in that case you forget that record acceleration. In this case, the car can do the zero to 60mph sprint in 3.9 seconds.
