After re-introducing the Chronospace earlier this year, Brietling follow-up on the summer release with a new limited edition Breitling Chronospace Jet Team Watch. Swiss watch manufacturer has issued a timepiece to celebrate their sponsorship of the ‘L-39 Albatros Jet Team’, known now as the Breitling Jet Team.
Chronospace Jet Team timepiece attempts to capture the essence of aerobatics team which often reach speeds of nearing 700 km/h. The watch features a stainless steel 48mm case with AR-coated sapphire crystals. Movement comes courtesy of Brietling’s Caliber 78 and SuperQuartz with features including a chronograph, alarm, countdown timer and dual timezone display among other features.
Based on cutting-edge electronics, the Chronospace offers a full range of functions that are useful to elite pilots such as those of the Breitling Jet Team – including 1/100th of a second chronograph with split times, alarm, countdown, dual timezone display with independent alarm, and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The LCD screens are equipped with a backlighting system guaranteeing optimal read-off by day or night.
It is only available with a Stratus Silver dial, adorned with the new team logo and with a plane representing one of the seven L-39 Albatros jets the team flies, and the bracelet is the woven steel Aero Classic. The Brietling Chronospace Jet Team will carry a limited edition run of only 1,000 pieces.
