Following a close collaboration with German manufacturer of design audio products Sonoro audio, MINI has just announced availability of an Internet radio that stays true to the company’s ‘Creative Use of Space’ philosophy. The result of the cooperation is an Internet radio that combines urban chic with a boundless musical experience – a wonder of multi-functionality and a design hit in one.
Dubbed MINI Rocks Sonoro, this limited edition of the ‘elements W’ Internet radio comes with four preset MINI Sounds Webradio channels. The MINI Rocks radio gets MINI badges on its face, along with stripes across the top that echo the hood stripes on the Mini Cooper.
The MINI rocks sonoro Internet radio offers the listeners 18,000 Webradio stations via Wi-Fi or LAN. It also includes an alarm clock, sleep and snooze functions, Radio Frequency remote control and eDock external iPod docking station with charging function.
The elegant wood casing for the radio is done in enticing Eclipse Grey metallic exterior lacquer from MINI, along with the original MINI sport stripes. Coupled with quality sound delivered by a 3-inch full range speaker with an internal digital equalizer and bass reflex tube makes the MINI Rocks Sonoro a great gift for a discerning audiophile. The users also have the option to browse by genre or country.
The MINI Rocks Sonoro Internet Radio will be sold on a limited edition basis in late September for €499 ($645).
