Histoire de Tourbillon 9 has triaxial tourbillon. The first carriage— the biggest—holds the other two, and takes 300 seconds to rotate on its axis. It encloses an intermediate carriage, which spins in 75 seconds. The third, and smallest, carriage directly holds the large variable-inertia balance wheel and completes its rotation in 45 seconds.
The skeleton dial of this model is as impressive as its mechanism, with the hands moving directly above it and pointing to two zones with Arabic numerals.
You need to know that Harry Winston brand will produce only 10 pieces of each version, and if you are lucky enough to be one of them, you will have the opportunity to feel the touch of an exclusive strap in black alligator leather, stitched with thread made of precious metal – 18-karat rose gold thread was used on the version with a rose gold case, while the stitching on the white gold model is done in platinum.
