Cosmetics company MAC and Italian designer Giambattista Valli are teaming up for new makeup capsule collection hitting stories next summer. The 48-year-old couturier and makeup giant have create a range of lipsticks consisting of five floral “garden shades”, from apricot to pinks and reds. “I made these for a woman with personality, a woman who lives her life and isn’t afraid to wear color and isn’t afraid to kiss!” Valli tells the publication.
The range will be released in a matte effect, with a lipgloss also available to add a hint of sheen.
For this collection of lipsticks, Valli was inspired by the thought of “dressing up your lips” and that the colors are reminiscent of some of his past clothing collections, ranging from pale pinks to a deep berry hue.
