New Edition Of Hat Worn by Humphrey Bogart

The Bogart

Italian brothers Giuseppe and Lazzaro Borsalino, founded in 1857, the famous Habsburg shop, now the famous brand Borsalino, who for more than 160 years has created the most famous fedora hat.
In collaboration with Humphrey Bogart Estate, the company launches “The Bogart“, a new fedora hat by whom the famous actor was recognized. Indeed, Bogart celebrated Borsalino’s hats carrying them either in films such as Casablanca or in private life, bringing this world fame to this company.

The Bogart

Made of a mixture of hair and rabbit fur, the new Borsalino hat Bogart reinterprets the classic fedora with a middle rim and a high dome. Its gray “Sebino” felt has been topped off with a charcoal-gray grosgrain belt and lined on the interior with gray satin, which features Bogart’s silhouette.
The black leather tape inside the hat carries one of Bogart’s legendary statements written in gold letters: “” Do everything. One thing may turn out right “. ut even before Bogart, at the end of the Second World War, Borsalino was so popular that it produced 2,000,000 hats a year.

The Bogart

In the 1940s, when Hemphrey Bogart brought the hat to fame, it was the last golden period of the Borsalino brand since the popularity of the hat fell in the postwar years. But the company is still synonymous with fedora hat and keeps this cult until today.
After Bogart, Borsalino’s hats were worn by many other famous actors like Al Pacino in “The Godfather, Robert Redford in “Great Gatsby”, and Michael Jackson in “Smooth Criminal” or Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones.
Bogart hat by Borsalino is available from this month at a price of €355.
