On Sale Both Halves of Secret Agent 007′ Renault 11

Orlando Auto Museum from Florida offered for sale Renault 11 TXE from 1984. This would not be of any interest if both halves were not offered for sale and would certainly not be returned to their driving condition. This car went badly in his life, but it gained fame, and where else, rather than on a movie screen. The secret agent 007 saved the world driving Renault in Paris, which ended up halved.

Of course, everything is clear. Renault 11 TXE offered for sale, was part of the stunt chase through the City of Light from the movie A View to A Kill, in which James Bond (Roger Moore) chases May Day (Grace Jones) who parachute down to the tourist boat that sails the Seine. The cascade was designed by Remy Julienne, who also was Bond’s doubler and apart from descending down the stairs, landing on a bus, and leaving without a roof, Renault is finishing its scene halved, but still in driving condition.
This “two-piece” Renault 11 TXE 1.7 will certainly not be cheap and will not even serve to drive the new owner. The only purpose of it will be that the proprietor is proud to own a part of the props from shooting a famous franchise, so if he sits in the front, he can start saving the world … in the imagination of course.
