Following example of Swarovski and Tiffany & Co. who have designed jewelry for “The Great Gatsby” movie, Chopard releases photos of jewelry, specially designed for ‘Diana’, starring Naomi Watts. Luxury Swiss jeweler is the official jeweler of the movie. Chopard set itself the challenge of creating a realistic portrayal of the Princess of Wales’ jewellery collection. Dazzling diamonds and ornate earrings perfectly illustrate the elegance of Princess Di.
Pieces made for the movie include a white diamond necklace set in platinum, grey cultured pearl drop earrings set in white diamond pave and 18-karat white gold, a brilliant-cut white diamond face watch featuring a black satin strap, floating diamond earrings and much, much more. As sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard has been involved in a slew of feature films including “Midnight in Paris,” “Elizabeth: The Golden Age” and “Nine.” But this project was different challenge.
