Dita Von Teese has teamed up with Heretic Parfum to introduce Scandalwood, a sexy new fragrance for men and women and eau de parfum that also comes as a candle and is being dubbed the “world’s first striptease candle.”
Douglas Little, Founder and creator of Heretic Parfum worked with Dita over the past three years to develop this provocative take on sandalwood and says, “Scandalwood is a voluptuous and alluring blend of Mysore sandalwood, sweet coriander, orris butter, Bulgarian rose and labdanum. The fragrance is androgynous, velvety and deeply alluring.”

“The sandalwood chord makes the fragrance wonderfully androgynous, which I think is a fascinating take on Erotique. Erotique has a velvety quality to it, but this one merges into this kind of smolder-y, woodsy world. It’s similar, but it stands on its own,” Von Teese noted.
As its name suggest, the candle also has a unique striptease aspect. From the time you light the candle, it will takeapproximately ten minutes for the transformation to begin. The longer the candle burns and the hotter it gets, the more will be revealed, once extinguished and things cool off, her dress will magically reappear until you’re ready to heat things up again.
