Sharon Stone’s Beverly Hills Mansion Listied on Sale for $7.5 Million

One in a series of celebrities who loves to buy house and never moved into, its “Basic Instinct” star, Sharon Stone. Famous actress bought Mediterranean-style mansion in Beverly Hills in 2006 for a cool $11 million, and now is selling it for $7.5 million! This isn’t Stone’s only home in Beverly Hills; she owns another property that she picked up in 1995 for $3.2 million.

This secluded unoccupied Beverly Glen estate, just two miles from exciting Sunset Boulevard, sits at the end of a private road on 4.85 acres with winding pathways with bridges and waterfalls, fruit trees, a meditation garden, a resort-style pool and a tennis court with viewing pavilion. There is also covered parking for about 14 cars.

The main house, built in 1991, doesn’t abundant with furniture since no one lives in it, but what’s there is so luxurious with high ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, a paneled library with built-in bookcases, and oversized living room with wet bar. Listing information shows there are 5 bedrooms in the main house and another 2 in a detached guest house and a total of 8.5 bathrooms. In addition to guest quarters the guest house also contains a state-of-the-art media room and gym.

Since the Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning (The Practice) actress bought the mansion in 2006, she is trying to get rid of it. Just four months after purchasing, she listed it for the profitable price of $12.5 million. After two years on and off the market, the price has been lowered several times. And now $8.995 million – the last price from 2009, has been lowered again on $7.5 million. Joe Babajian of Rodeo Realty, Beverly Hills, is the listing agent.
