The luxury food retailer, Fortnum & Mason has partnered with London’s The View from The Shard to launch two ‘sky-high tea experiences’. Celebrate the Great British summer-time with the city’s finest afternoon tea from the iconic 308 year-old home of fine food, dining and exquisite gifts at the top of London’s newest icon on the skyline. For summer 2015, guests will be able to choose from a high tea ‘Hamperling’ with or without a bottle of champagne. Both packages consist of a ticket to The View from The Shard, an afternoon tea sandwich selection, scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, tea fancies, tea or coffee and a blanket.
Guests also have the option to take in the stunning views from the Shard and then enjoy tea at the Fortnum & Mason’s Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon.
A limited number of Fortnum & Mason picnic experience tickets (40 per day) will be available to book at The View from The Shard for sittings starting 23 June.
