TAG Heuer Link Chronograph SIHH 2018

TAG Heuer Link

TAG Heuer’s Link design dates back to 1987. Its signature bracelet boasts the S-shaped links and each link is rounded on the top, bottom and sides for an exceptionally smooth feel on the wrist.
This model received a makeover in 2016, so somehow it sounded logical for TAG Heuer to unveil its Link model in a chronograph version, giving this iconic piece a stylish, sporty look.

With a diameter of 41 mm, the black or blue sunray open dial allows for maximum readability, while the bezel features two components, combining two designs: a cushion base and an overlaid ring. Thanks to its four subtle corners, the case shape lies between round and cushion, giving it a softer, more understated design.
The chronograph is a calibre 17 with the small second counter at 3 o’clock, the chronograph minute counter at 9 o’clock and the hour counter at 6 o’clock; These three small snailed counters contrast with the black dial, giving an impression of speed as they reflect back the light.

Made entirely of steel, the bracelet is totally integrated into the case, making lugs superfluous, and providing a more fluid and ergonomic design. Each component of the bracelet is polished, ensuring it is smooth to the touch and flexible on the wrist. Thank to this sublime attention to detail, wearing the Link becomes a veritable experience, one filled with elegance and charm. The finishes are sophisticated, with a combination of polished and brushed finishes on the case and bracelet. The Link Chronograph retails at CHF 4,750.
